So What's This All About?
The west side of Dothan is the most populated area of Dothan, however the only dog park in Dothan is over 30 minutes away on the east side of our city.

We currently have a petition drive running which will be directed to the Mayor, City Council, Leisure Services and Park Officials of Dothan, AL, if we can get enough signatures. Our goal is to ask the city of Dothan to support the construction of an enclosed, off-leash dog park on the west side of Dothan, at the 384 Narcisse Drive section of the Forever Wild Trails.
Current Projects
We must first get the petition signed by all dog lovers, specifically those located in and around the west side of Dothan, including Midland City, Slocomb, Malvern, Newton Pinckard, Taylor, Wicksburg. So please get the word out. Facebook, Twitter lovers - please post our website for all your friends and ask them to sign our petition.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
If our petition is successful and the project is approved by the Dothan City Commission we will require a large number of both volunteers and funders in order to make the park successful. The construction of a off-leash dog park on the west side of town will definitely be a community effort. So please indicate on the petition if you are willing to help, and include your phone number and/or email address so you can be personally contacted.

We are just a group of individuals that love our dogs and want them to be well taken care of. A large item on that bucket list of care is socialization.
